Do you think you have the courage to do things out of the ordinary ? This might be for you. It is believed that the religious facets of Pamplona’s fiesta of San Fermin, held in honor of the city’s co-patron saint, and the popularity of bull runs in Spanish cities merged over time. In 1591, the San Fermin Festival was moved from September to July, and since then the famed running of the bulls in Pamplona has taken place every summer, attracting growing numbers of spectators and participants. After the launching of two rockets, the bulls charge behind the runners for 825 metres, the distance between the corral and the bullring. The run usually lasts between three and four minutes although it has sometimes taken over ten minutes, especially if one of the bulls has been isolated from his companions. The run finished at the Plaza de Toros where the spectators can watch the fierce fight between the toreador and the bulls themselves. The fun and the parties are non-stop but i think we can use the opportunity and explore other parts of Spain which are in relative closeness so that we can be back by the evening for the tomorrow's fun and danger.
