Shopping in Edirne

I am visiting Edirne for the second time and I would go again and again ... The city is only 170 km away from my hometown Plovdiv, the trip is easy and pleasant. The wait at the border crossing is long, only when you decide to travel on long weekends and then everyone goes to the market. The first time I visited the so-called Friday market, and the second we shopped at the Grand Mall and Margie Outlet. Friday's market takes literally a whole day. What immediately impresses are the huge area, piled with stalls and of course the opportunity to bargain for everything. I bought a carpet for the modest sum of BGN 50, which is only 25 Euros, with a size of 130/170, very beautiful and high quality, with a modern pattern. We also bought one-color women's blouses with long sleeves, which are made of beautiful cotton, each for BGN 8 or EUR 4. Also - sports equipment, bags, curtains ... The curtains are so abundant in patterns and patterns, ready with curtains, that you just can not decide to replace the old curtain, even if it is not so old. Marg Outlet offers very good prices for branded goods. Of the supermarket chains in the city, the most profitable are Migros. Bulgarians mostly buy olive oil, olives, citrus fruits, Turkish delight, baklava and other oriental delicacies. Foods such as cheese, yellow cheese and some meat products come into play. The Blue Market, right opposite Maggie Outlet, is recommended for trading not only for the listed products, but also for pie crusts, olive oil, olives. Detergents are also in great demand by Bulgarians because of their low prices. Brands such as Persil and Toursil are the most sought after and profitable. Not to mention the prices of fruits and vegetables - they are almost 3 times cheaper than those in Bulgaria. At the same time, clothes, plates, small household goods are traded profitably. The clothes, bags and shoes from the outlets are especially in demand. The prices are not only lower compared to the Bulgarian market, but also of better quality. The variety is very large. Next time I will spend time on the largest mosque in Turkey "Selimiye" - a masterpiece in the work of Mimar Sinan.
