San Diego

As much as I love to travel, I’m also very thankful for the chance to visit San Diego 5 years ago. I’ve been there for almost 4 years, so I’ve spent very long time exploring everything that the city has to offer. This post is a roundup of all my favorites – so it’s the perfect San Diego itinerary for first-timers! Geographically, San Diego is quite spread out. For that reason, no matter where you stay, expect to drive to see some of the sights you want to see. To start your day properly head up to the cost to see one of San Diego’s prettiest spots: Torrey Pines State Reserve. If you have time on your drive there, stop off at the Glider Port. At the glider port, you can watch adrenaline-fueled adventurers hand-glide from the rocky cliffs down to the beach. In the afternoon i recommend Moonlight Beach. You can spend the afternoon lounging in the sun, and it’s the perfect beach for visitors to San Diego because it has plenty of creature comforts, including a snack bar, showers, restrooms, and chair/umbrella rentals. You can even rent a surfboard if you’re feeling adventurous! Don`t forget to take a gundola ride in Corando cays. It`s similar to Venice -like neighborhood built on water canals. If you’re traveling to San Diego with kids, explore one of San Diego’s well-known parks. My favorites are the Zoo and the Wild Animal Park! Younger kids will also love Legoland, located in Carlsbad.
